IU is a Billionaire?

Rumor has it that IU raked in 10 billion won.

It was well known that IU made a killing with hit songs last year, making over 6 billion won. TV appearances pushed her income to the 10 billion level. 

This is record earnings for solo artists and especially female singers. 

It is curious who is handing all her money. IU recently said on a TV show that her mother will be her personal accountant. "She lets me know where the money will be spent. She claims that because it's my money, I should know how it's spent."

She also stated that it's a matter of convenience so far, but at some point, "I'm going to have to learn it myself. So I'm starting to."
