Apple Watch Specs: It Is Official, Battery Of Apple's Wearable Device Lasts 'About A Day Right Now', Says Company Spokesman

A couple of days after Apple unleashed its latest smartphones and a wearable device, we still can't help but wonder whether the Apple Watch specs are enough or not in beating the competition.

For some, the rounded design is a more preferred look nowadays, especially with how Motorola managed to come up with such an elegant-looking smartwatch in the Moto 360.

But while some may argue that the Apple Watch design is not that good, we can't deny the fact that it packs some impressive specs for a smartwatch. The device packs a Glance features which works like the usual smartphone in that it allows the user to swipe through different panels to view the device's apps.

The wearable device will also offer the option to use the watch's crown to zoom in maps, and scrolling apps. Siri is said to be on board as well.

But in a new report by GSM Arena, it looks like the device will not get a better battery compared to other smartwatches in the market today.

In the report, Apple spokesman Nat Kerris revealed that the Apple Watch's battery would only last 'about a day right now'. This just means users of the Apple Watch will need to recharge the device's battery everyday after they arrive home.

Before you scream in disappointment, it is important to point out that he mentioned 'right now', which probably means that there may be improvements in the future. Considering that the Apple Watch would not be available until early next year, there could be a number of improvements and changes in both design and specs.

Simply put, the Apple Watch could be a better device than the one announced on Tuesday by the time it actually hits the marke next year.

Are you still excited about the new Apple Watch, or do you feel that can't wait long enough?
