Alicia Keys Calls for Peace in New Music Video; Alicia Keys Drops Music Video for `We Are Here’ On Facebook

Alicia Keys premiered her new video on Facebook. As the country prepares for yet another foreign invasion in response to the ISIS  threats Keys is asking the big questions.

Keys debuted the music video for "We Are Here" along with a note explaining how the song came about.

"The day I wrote this song, I was sitting in a circle of people of all ages and we were asked, 'Why are you here.' Why am I here?? This really hit me on a deep level. I realized no one had ever asked me that question before.

"As I prepare to give birth to a new child, I can't help and think about the world I'm bringing my baby into. No matter where we come from, when we see the state of the world today, we can all feel the growing frustration and desire to make a difference. And we all have a voice - we just need to know how to make it heard."

Alicia Keys is working with producer Pharrell on her sixth studio album

Pharrell told Revolt Magazine that the new music of flying out of the New York native "It's just emitting and radiating just a force and I've never seen her so comfortable, ever."

In the new single, Alicia Keys sings "Let's talk about Chi-town / Let's talk about Gaza / Let's talk about Israel... let's talk Nigeria / and the mass hysteria / Our souls are brought together / so that we can love each other."

On Monday night Keys premiered "We Are Here" on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon."

She told AP, "What I know for a fact is it's the best music I've ever done in my life."

Keys is expecting her second child with husband Swizz Beatz in December. The singer is set to appear as a mentor on "The Voice." Keys will be on Pharrell's team. She did a duet with the "Happy" singer for for the "Spider-Man" tune, "It's On Again."  Pharrell also appears on her new album.

The Grammy-winning musician recently told Billboard that, "What I know for a fact is it's the best music I've ever done in my life yet and it's really exciting to be able to have this kind of growth, this type of opportunity...The music's actually pretty much done already and so you'll be hearing some of it soon."
