Harry Potter Book Series Tops Facebook's '10 Books That Stayed With You', Bible On The 6th Place?

The Harry Potter book series ranked as number 1 of the most influential book in people compare to the Bible.

"For the past year, a meme circulated around Facebook has asked people to list books that have influenced them, which is how two researchers, Pinkesh Patel and Lada Adamic, we're able to compile their data composed of 130,000 user updates to create their list," according to the report of Christian Post.

"List 10 books that have stayed with you in some way. Don't take more than a few minutes, and don't think too hard. They do not have to be the 'right' books or great works of literature, just ones that have affected you in some way," read the meme statement on Facebook.

A study conducted by Facebook disclosed the Harry Potter book series by J.K Rowling was mentioned by 21 percent of the thousands respondents who joined the study, making the said book number 1 among the top 500 books that were listed. The Holy Bible has only 7 percent ranking it to number 6 place on the list.

In the meme statement on Facebook states that the study was derived from following demographics: "63.7% were in the US, followed by 9.3% in India, and 6.3% in the UK."
