Nick Cannon Mariah Carey Divorce: Mariah Carey isn't letting her breakup with Nick Cannon split her from her music.

According to HollywoodLife.com, the music is helping Mariah keep her mind off the divorce. Mariah Carey, 44, and Nick Cannon, 33, announced their separation after six years of marriage and 3-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan.

Nick Cannon is also keeping himself occupied. The "America's Got Talent" was accompanied to a recent fashion event in New York City with singer-songwriter Kreesha Turner. The media is already speculating whether Nick Cannon is dating.

Carey is busy getting ready for the upcoming tour that will promote her new album, "Me. I Am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse."

A spokesperson for Mariah Carey told HollywoodLife.com "Mariah is rehearsing for her Asian tour as she is leaving next week."

Mariah's representative said that the Elusive Chanteuse isn't alone either, saying "her kids are with her."

On Sept. 17, Carey added New Zealand and Australia stops on her "The Elusive Chanteuse Show."

Mariah wrote on her website, "I want to experience the spontaneity and emotion that I put into this album on stage with my fans. I can't stop writing songs so don't be surprised if you hear a brand new song that I just wrote the night before the show in your city."

Meanwhile, Nick Cannon has stayed off the net, recently tweeting "I have personally been absent from social media for the past few months for obvious reasons but I feel the need to finally speak up. During this challenging time for me and my family it saddens me that the media can be such evil bottom feeders... For the record I NEVER have, nor will I make a statement regarding my marriage. So whatever your favorite gossip outlet is reporting has been created within their own imagination... At this difficult time I would ask all civilized people to please respect my family and this process."

Page Six reported that Carey and Cannon have been living apart for months. The "America's Got Talent" host has been living in hotels and the pop diva lives with their twins Monroe and Moroccan Scott.
