Jenny McCarthy Loses Wedding Ring Less Than A Month After Saying ‘I Do’ And You’ll Never Guess Where!

Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg have been married for less than a month but they have already weathered at least one major crisis: Jenny losing her ring.

When discussing why she wasn't wearing her dazzling 10-carat yellow sapphire sparkler on FOX's "Good Day NY," the former host of "The View" revealed that the disappearance actually involved a little fun.

"I've already lost the ring," said McCarthy. "We were staying in a hotel and you can't have a wedding ring on... it's a little hard to get romantic with diamonds on your hand. I removed it and put it on the room service table and they came and turned down the room and the ring was gone... But you know what though? If you're gonna lose your wedding ring, you should lose it that way."

No need to panic, however. McCarthy and her new husband eventually tracked the wedding ring down.

"We lost it for about two hours. We found it. It was in the bed sheets," Wahlberg told Wonderwall.

The "Blue Bloods" actor, and member of New Kids On The Block, also went to explain why his bride took the ring off in the first place.

"It was off because the diamonds scrape a little bit and she doesn't like scraping me and it was private time," explained Wahlberg. "She thought she put it on the nightstand. I thought she put it in the bed and sure enough it was in the sheet. My detective work from 'Blue Bloods' panned out and it was down in the laundry room of the hotel."

So, all is well.

The busy couple, who revealed their engagement on "The View" and married on Aug. 31, are also planning to take a full-scale honeymoon sometime in the near future.

"We had a brief couple days in Chester, NY at our favorite place in the world called Glenmere Mansion. We're both working a lot. Jenny is preparing for her new Sirius gig and it was also Evan, Jenny's son and my stepson's first day of school the Tuesday after the wedding. We had to get right back into life," Wahlberg told Wonderwall. "We'll have a real honeymoon later. Not much later. She's not the type to wait 10 years for anything. She's going to make us have one real soon."
