Joan Rivers Promotes iPhone 6 From The Grave: Check Out Her Facebook and Instagram Post!

Apparently actress and comedianne Joan Rivers wants to get herself a new iPhone 6 last Friday. Obviously she does not need to line up to get her hands on the new device, but it might be a tad bit difficult given that she died two weeks ago.

Rivers called the new iPhone 6 a "great achievement design" and promoted the "great product" on her Facebook and Instagram account. Her fans were needless to say shocked when they saw the message, who some though there a message from the "Fashion Police" host's ghost.

The social media posts were clearly pre-scheduled before the comedian's unexpected death. As TMZ points out, they are most probably "the result of a pre-negotiated deal with Apple."

The photos were immediately deleted after going live, but not before Facebook and Instagram users were able to snap screenshots.

The post which included a photo of an older iPhone and said:

"This badass is being replaced by an iPhone 6 (not the fat one). I got this one in 2010, and after 4 years, my only complaint is that apps are now designed for bigger screens, and the battery is getting tired. Never had a case for it, since it was most beautiful on its own. Great achievement in design. Great product. #apple #iPhone #tech"

Rivers passed away last September 4, just eight days after suffering cardiac arrest during what should have been a normal outpatient procedure. It's been two weeks since Joan Rivers' death so the untimely iPhone post was definitely awkward.

Some netizens, however, found the post amusing and took to social media to voice out what they thought of the promotional blunder.

We must admit, the incident was a bit funny though obviously untimely. It does help with the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus promotion, though. What do you think?
