Gwyneth Advised By School Authorities To Stop Using Vespa Scooter In Taking Children From School; Actress' Rep Denies Incident

School authorities notified Gwyneth Paltrow on Friday when she is spotted to nearly collide with another vehicle while driving kids to school during rush hour in Los Angeles, Hollywood Life reports. The habit of using a Vespa scooter to drop their children to school is said to be the Gwynnie's and ex-husband, Chris Martin's habit to smoothly get in the way despite heavy traffic.

Reports from Hollywood Life and New York Post's Page Six column stated that the 41-year old actress finds it very convenient to use the scooter as she will be spared from waiting in line with other parents for a vacant lot or car in the car-pool line. And on that day, after picking up one of her kids from school, Gwyneth speed past the traffic not minding a school bus with child commuters that nearly hit her scooter.

"But after Gwyneth was photographed on the Vespa pulling out in front of a bus, school chiefs reprimanded her and said they'd rather she and Chris didn't bring the kids to school on scooters." Reports said.

On the other hand, reps of the Iron Man actress are quick to deny about the photos and rumors saying that she had stopped using her Vespa as mode of transportation this year.

'This story is not true. It was last year that they would occasionally drive the kids to school on scooters. This year, the kids take the bus.'

This is also what she had said in an interview earlier this month in the John Kimmel Live when asked about how she raised her kids and how they are like everyone else.

"Actually, this is their first year on the bus. They take the bus and then I pick them up at the bus stop. It's pretty cute. They feel very independent . . . [Their first day back] was great. They seemed really happy. They got off the bus. They were smiling. They had backpacks." The actress said.
