'Star Wars' 7 Casting Rumors: 'James Bond 24' Star Daniel Craig To Play 'Secret Cameo Role' For J.J. Abrams Sci-Fi Sequel?

Star Wars episode 7 may have started filming, but rumors about casting haven't stopped.

Word has it that "James Bond 24" star Daniel Craig is about to appear in J.J. Abrams sci-fi sequel

According to The Verge, the 46-year-old British star has been spotted at Pinewood Studios, where Star Wars is currently being filmed.

"Daniel is close friends with JJ Abrams. He asked for some sort of secret cameo role - and was happy to have his name left off the posters," the report stated.

However, if the Star Wars episode 7 casting rumors were true, it's most likely that Craig would just appear as a cameo to the film.

"12 Years A Slave" Star Lupita Nyong'o and "Game Of Thrones" Actress Gwendoline Christie are included in the line up.

"I could not be more excited about Lupita and Gwendoline joining the cast of Episode VII," Lucasfilm president and producer Kathleen Kennedy said.

"It's thrilling to see this extraordinarily talented ensemble taking shape."

Confirmed Star Wars Episode 7 cast also includes, "Girls" star Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow.

They will join original stars Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker and R2-D2, who was actually the first cast confirmed to be joining Star Wars Episode 7.

Meanwhile, It has been reported that the upcoming "Star Wars" episode 7 plot would include a Millennium Falcon and X-wing but, a recent update show some potential spoilers.

In an article posted by Metro UK, a photo of the apparent war ships was spotted at Greenham Common in West Berkshire, a 40 mile drive from the famous Pinewood Studios where J.J. Abrams' sequel is being filmed.

Aside from Pinewood, the movie is also filming in other various UK locations including Puzzlewood, Skellig Island and Berkshire as the publication reports.

Rumors suggest that Han Solo, starred by Harrison Ford, would not pilot the iconic Millennium Falcon anymore suggesting more "Star Wars" 7 spoilers.

Word has it that Oscar Isaac's character would now captain the Falcon giving birth to questions as to what Han Solo's role in the sequel would be.

Moreover, previous rumors suggest that a full-sized Millennium Falcon is on Pinewood's set making fans speculate that perhaps there are more than one ship being built, which is not impossible knowing that there are more sequels and stand-alone films scheduled for the franchise.

It can also be that there would be more than one Falcon to be used in the film, one for Han Solo and another for his son?

Star Wars Episode 7 is expected to hit theaters on December 18, 2015.
