Samsung Galaxy Note 2 review, specs: The 5-inch Samsung Galaxy Note 2, which is compatible to receive the Android 4.4.2 KitKat, was released almost two years ago but is still a much loved handset by its users. It’s officially two generations behind, as the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Samsung Galaxy Note 4 are now available.

Although the Note 2 doesn’t match the power of the S4 and S5’s display, Samsung has kept its trademark bright and colorful screen that many of its users have come to love.

One thing that has always made users fall in love with the unit is the battery. One look and we can immediately tell that the Note 2’s battery is huge; in fact, we are talking about a 3100 mAh battery strapped behind the device. Based on the earlier comment by a KpopStarz commenter, the unit can last up to 42 hours.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2, though an ancient device by tech standards, is seemingly built to last in terms of appeal. It’s not a disposable or replaceable handset whose function is compromised by the shiniest successor available.
