Resident Evil: Revelations 2 Will Be Released Episodically! Game Will Be Back On Its Original Survival Horror Style! Find Out More About The Game!

On 2015, Resident Evil Revelations 2 is set to be released on an episodic manner. This was revealed by Capcom in last week's Tokyo Game Show 2014.

Capcom, a manufacturer and distributor of electronic game machines since 1979, showed a 17-minute look at the game play of the upcoming Resident Evil Revelations 2 in the recently held TGS 2014 event.

In the video that was shown, Revelations 2 featured two characters: Claire Redfield and Moira Burton. Claire Redfield returns as the main character and will be co-supported by Barry Burton's daughter, Moira Burton. The former fights aggressively, shooting the enemies right in the face while the latter is a timid detective who uses her stunning flashlight as her weapon. The two heroines though have their own strengths and weaknesses.

In an interview by Push Start Play with Michiteru Okabe, producer of Resident Evil: Revelations 2,  it was revealed that the upcoming video game will be "much more Survival Horror oriented". It was also said that the game can also be played by single player wherein the death of Claire signifies game over. New enemy called "Afflicted" is also expected to arrive.

According to hereisthecity.com, for four weeks, a series of four downloadable episodes are slated to released once a week starting 2015. Capcom is also planning to release the said video game in Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC.

Because of the game's episodic treatment, it is expected that the character's capabilities as well as its game and stories will changed from time to time. IGN reports though that "prison area where the episode will took place is mostly flat in texture, wet, leathery, bloodied bad guys with nothing to define them from any other generic horror games or films."

The forthcoming Resident Evil is also said to be back from its original survival horror style series. Obake added, "I want this to be both a game that doesn't lose what made its predecessor great, while also bringing something new and exciting to the Resident Evil series."
