Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Phablet To Launch Ahead Of Scheduled On October! Will It Beat Apple's iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus?

Following US rival Apple's record sales of its iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, South Korean multinational conglomerate company, Samsung launched Galaxy Note 4 phablet earlier than scheduled.

Galaxy Note 4 is scheduled to be sold in 140 nations by the end of next month after it hits stores in China and South Korea this week. Galaxy Note 4 was originally anticipated to be launched in October.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is the only flagship Samsung product that has hit stores in China and South Korea before going on sale in other markets. This is an effort to compete with growing competition from low-priced Chinese-made rivals.

Plus, US rival Apple reported a record opening for its latest range of iPhones, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus influencing the decision to bring forward the launch date of its latest version of over-sized Galaxy Note smartphone.

The latest version of iPhone is not yet available in China.

Following the Friday launch in the U.S., Australia, Britain, France, Canada, Hong Kong, Germany, Puerto Rico, Singapore and Japan, in just three days, sales of Apple's latest iPhones topped 10 million.

In 2011 Samsung introduced its Galaxy Note series and developed the market for the 'phablet' devices - sized between a tablet and a smartphone.

Though Samsung continue facing growing challenge from cheaper Chinese mobile makers, with the Galaxy S smartphones, it dethroned Apple as world's best smartphone maker.

With its shares trading at a two-year-low, Samsung revealed a 20 percent fall in its second quarter's net profit.

During the launch in Seoul on Wednesday, Lee Don-Joo who spearheads sales and marketing for Samsung mobile unit told reporters, "We are temporarily going through a difficult business situation," he continued, "But...we hope that we would be able to recover soon based on our fundamental capability for technical innovation."

With reference to Galaxy Note 3 topping 10 million in just a span of two months when it was launched in 2013, Lee is confident that Note 4 would surpass that.
