Katrina Kaif Opens Up About Salman Khan Before `Bang Bang’ Opening

Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan shroud their relationship in mystery. But Katrina Kaif recently opened up about her "Bang Bang" costar.

Katrina shared that she had a close relation with Salman while promoting her upcoming release 'Bang Bang' with Hrithik Roshan.

Katrina says an interview where she reportedly said she heading towards Salman Khan every time she is in trouble is not true.

During an interview with Hindustan Times, the 'Dhoom 3' actress said Khan is very supportive, but "These reports of me calling him for help etc., aren't true. I don't call him every second day or every time there is a problem. But if I was ever in trouble or if I ever needed help from someone, I believe he is the kind of person, who would help a friend or anyone who has been close to him. And I believe that he would help me," she said.

The glamorous Hong Kong-born actress is a British national. Kaif said that she stayed close to Khan's sister even though the glamorous couple  broke up.

"I am in touch with Alvira (Salman's sister). She has been like a sister to me. We had a very deep connection, and that [equation] still remains. That's why, I am in touch with her on a regular basis. She is someone who will always be dear to me," Kaif told Hindustan Times.

Katrina also spoke at length about jer Saawariya co-star Ranbir, saying "In the time that I have known Ranbir, since Saawariya released, I have seen a lot of change in him as a person. Not only from the proximity that I have known from, but also as an outsider, given how much he has matured and evolved as a person. The film industry is where he belonged and was immediately accepted, but I have seen him hugely grow even as an actor. Ranbir is like me, in the way that he is very loyal and emotional to the people he really cares about in his inner circle, which is very small. He can come out very detached to people outside of that. The only difference between his behavior and my behavior, let's say on a film set, is that while he is incredibly charming and polite with everyone that he comes in contact with, I don't think he yet realizes what an important and amazing trait that is, I will get tired after saying a good morning to just three people."
