Courtney Cox Jealous Of 'The Rachel' Hair On 'Friends': Jennifer Aniston Calls It 'Ugliest Haircut' She's Ever Seen!
As "Friends" celebrate its 20th anniversary, we all can't help but feel a bit sentimental. The Central Perk, Joey on DOOL, Mike "Crap Bag" Hannigan... and of course the iconic 'The Rachel' haircut.
Women all around the world just wanted to copy it! Jennifer Aniston was known for her iconic hairstyle.

No wonder, Courtney Cox felt "bummed out" when her show haircuts never caught on.
Appearing on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!", she admitted that she really wanted "Friends" fans to rock "The Monica" too.
"You know what? It kind of bums me out, why didn't they?" Cox laughed. "We had the same hairdresser (Chris McMillan). I don't understand. I got nothing. I kept changing mine, like, 'If you don't like it I'll just keep doing it,' and they never stuck!"
"The Rachel" hairstyle caused might have caused quite a stir back in the day, but Aniston actually says she actually hated it.
In 2011, she spoke to Allure about the buzzy layered haircut created by hairstylist Chris McMillan.
"I love Chris, and he's the bane of my existence at the same time because he started that damn Rachel, which was not my best look,' she said. "How do I say this? I think it was the ugliest haircut I've ever seen."
Yikes.
Probably it has to do with the haircut being so maintenance. Early this year, she told ABC News that "The Rachel" was one of the hardest hairstyles to maintain, and that she could never get it to look right without the help of her stylist.
"Me and the blow dryer and the hairbrush weren't meant for each other," she revealed. "It really was a 'hairdo.'"
Hmmm why do you think "The Monica" didn't catch on? Does it have something to do with the characters? Rachel being more laid-back and cute, and Monica a bit more uptight?
