AC/DC New Album Will `Rock Or Bust’ Listeners Starting Dec. 2; First New AC/DC Music Since 2008 Will Premiere on Major League Baseball Campaign [VIDEO]

AC/DC new album is on the way and the band knows how to "Play Ball." The hard rocking metal icons' new album, "Rock or Bust," will be released on December 2. The first new AC/DC song will be heard on Turner Sports as the network premieres "Play Ball" as part of their 2014 MLB on TBS postseason campaign.

Columbia Records announced that AC/DC  will release their highly anticipated new studio album "Rock or Bust" on December 2, 2014.

"Rock or Bust" is AC/DC's first studio album of all new material in six years. It is the follow-up to their 2008 "Black Ice" album, which debuted at #1 in 31 countries and continued selling until it got to almody 8 million copies worldwide.

"Rock or Bust" is AC/DC's first album in their 41 year history without founding member Malcolm Young.  AC/DC released a statement earlier this year saying Malcolm would take a break from the band because of illness. It has since come out that, because of Malcolm's illness, he will not be returning to the band. 

AC/DC will go out on a world tour in support of "Rock or Bust" staring in 2015.  Joining the band on tour will be the nephew of founding members Angus and Malcolm Young, Stevie Young. Young played rhythm guitar on "Rock or Bust."

"Rock or Bust" and features 11 new tracks. It was recorded at Warehouse Studio in Vancouver, British Columbia in Spring 2014. AC/DC returned to the studio with longtime producer Brendan O'Brien and mixer Mike Fraser. 

Turner Sports announced that it will give fans a sneak peek of the new track 'Play Ball' as part of the 2014 Major League Baseball Postseason campaign, starting September 27.  TBS, the exclusive home to this year's American League Postseason coverage, will run it for several weeks.
