Classicalite reports, "Law and Order: SVU returns to NBC tonight as part of their new WCW lineup. Last year, Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) suffered greatly at the hand of the psychopath, William Lewis (Pablo Schreiber, also Pornstach in Orange is the New Black). Now Liv has a new lease on life, after adoption the baby orphan Noah. When we saw Olivia Benson, she had decided to adopt the orphan Noah. Recently, Mariska Hargitay spoke to reporters about how her new baby is helping her get out of the darkness she went through (via TV Guide): "There was a lot of darkness. To be in darkness and fear and all that that she went through and losing faith in humanity and then having, like, a miracle lobbed into your world, a light. It felt like a comet, really. I think that having a child changes everything and will redefine her." The show's executive producer, Warren Leight, also chimed in on Liv's new role: "I think she was given permission also to have her own life after last year....Last year she went back into the granary when she knew William Lewis was alone there with a young woman hostage. Would she make that decision now when there's somebody at home who's dependent on her? How does that affect your judgment in life and death situations?"

According to next week's episode synopsis of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," called "American Disgrace," there's drama in the air. TV Guide reports, "A pro basketball player is accused of rape, and then other alleged victims come forward, but Benson and Carisi clash over whether the women's stories are all valid. Meanwhile, the investigation results in Rollins visiting her old precinct in Atlanta, which stirs up memories for her." Episode 7 already looks very entertaining! But we've got more...

On the next episode of SVU, "Producer's Backend," there's even more excitement on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit." In Episode 3, "A starlet tries to use her charms to get out of an arrest, but Amaro proves unflappable, earning him a spot back on the SVU squad. The same starlet is later charged with statutory rape, prompting a curious Benson to investigate the actress's own past."

It will certainly be interesting to see all of this play out! Check out the SVU "Girls Disappeared" trailer video and preview videos here:
