Cleveland Cavaliers Roster: 4 Reasons Why 2014 Cavs Are Better Than 2010 Heat

After LeBron James moved in and returned to his home town in Northeast Ohio, the Cleveland Cavaliers roster immediately became the favorites for next year's NBA title.

However, the Cavs completed its rebuild with a key acquisition in Kevin Love, to form the big three of Love, James, and Kyrie Irving.

But while this big three is different from the ones we've seen recently, we can't help but compare this to the other one whom James left in Miami.

Here are 4 reasons why the big three in Cleveland for the upcoming season will be stronger than the one in Miami in 2010.

1. LeBron has more experience now

At already 29 years old, James has been through a lot in the NBA. And because he has already won two championships, and appeared in four straight NBA Finals with the Heat, he is certainly poised to make another stellar run to get into the Finals for the fifth consecutive time.

2. Once again, he needs to prove something

When LeBron moved to Miami with Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade, it seemed they lacked focus during the first few months of their run together. While the team eventually got their acts going, the same immaturity haunted them when they faced the Dallas Mavericks and their seasoned veterans.

3. He remains the leader of this squad from the get-go

Even before the season tips off, everyone knows that LeBron will be the leader of this team. But that was not the case during the 2010 Miami. LeBron was the Cavs' leader, Bosh led the Raptors, while Wade has been the Heat's franchise player ever since. It was difficult to adjust when the entire team does not know who they would listen to when it matters the most.

4. He has more support from the bench

Now, LeBron has two former Miami teammates, a veteran forward, and just recently a veteran guard to back him up. Apart from the big three, this lineup does not have superstars or stars for that matter. But role players who actually know their roles in the team is far better in Cleveland than in 2010 Miami.
