State Farm Insurance Pulls Back Ad Featuring Rob Schneider 's Anti-Vaccination Views As Comedian Fires Back Using Quotes From George Washington!

American actor, comedian Rob Schneider is firing back at State Farm using a Founding Father. The insurance company had featured the ace comedian in an ad because of his anti-vaccination outlook.

On Tuesday, quoting George Washington, Schneider tweeted "If the Freedom of Speech is taken away then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter."

He expressed gratitude to his fans on late Wednesday. He tweeted, "Thanks to all my supporters who believe as I do that parents should decide what's in the best interests of their child, not Gov't mandates."

Earlier Schneider retweeted a link to a 2013 interview in which he has uttered bitter complaints against vaccines.

In the article, he said "The idea that vaccines don't injure people is a fallacy. "Two billion dollars have been paid out to people who have been vaccine injured or died in the United States. This is a real thing."

As per a PRWeek report, State Farm decided to drop the ad featuring Schneider on Monday as the company had been under immense pressure from other pro-vaccination groups who criticized State Farm for using Schneider as a spokesman.

In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, State Farm said, "State Farm advertising is intended to inform and entertain. "This particular ad has unintentionally been used as a platform for discussion unrelated to the products and services we provide. With that, we are working to remove the ad from our rotation at this time."

However, Schneider's reps did not immediately answer to requests for comment.

The veteran stand-up comic has apparently been candid in his belief that vaccines could lead to autism. He even stated that vaccination should not be compulsory.

Lately, the anti-vaccination movement has been under limelight. A recent investigation by THR revealed that numerous schools in Los Angeles' West Side have dangerously low vaccination rates. As per critics of the anti-vaccination movement, stars like Schneider are partly responsible for supporting ant-vaccination movement.
