Shadow Warrior PS4 And Xbox One Release Date, Trailer, Gameplay, Review: Preview New Features For Console Versions [VIDEO]

"Shadow Warrior" is coming to Xbox One and PS4 PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 24.

The game was previously slated for September 23, but was delayed one month. "Shadow Warrior" was released on PC one year ago.

The first-person shooter follows the tale of Zilla Enterprise's corporate shogun, Lo Wang, who is ordered by his employer to track down and acquire a legendary blade known as the Nobitsura Kage. The plot fuses together Asian-mythology with a modern setting. We're still trying to track down a North American release date.

IGN had good things to say about the PC version's long campaign and good story.

The console version has a few new features added to the PC one that hit last year. Those include an Arena mode with waves of enemies, more campaign content revolving around the head of the Zilla Corporation, and weapons that pull from other Devolver franchises: the sledgehammer from Serious Sam 3, the katana from Hotline Miami, the "classic Shadow Warrior" katana, and the Zilla Enterprises Z45 katana.

Shadow Warrior received SOME mixed reviews on PC. Devolver previously said it was aiming for the console versions to cost $39.99, so presumably that price point still applies.

Again, "Shadow Warrior" for Xbox One and PS4 release date is October 24.
