Amber Rose And Wiz Khalifa Divorce: 'We Dem Boyz' Rapper Wants Custody Of Baby, Nick Cannon's Newest Star Set To Take $1 Million

It looks like the divorce proceedings between Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa may be getting even more contentious. The couple, who announced their split earlier this week and have both been subject to allegations of infidelity, are reportedly now fighting over custody of their one-year-old son, Sebastian. Meanwhile, it seems Rose is set to receive a $1 million settlement from the divorce, as per their pre-nup agreement.

TMZ reports that Khalifa is contesting the divorce petition Rose originally filed, which asked for sole custody but would grant him visitation right. The rapper wants joint custody, and the law of California might be on his side. The state tends to view equal parental rights as being in the best interest of the child, and requests for sole custody are often seen as acts of vengeance. There is no word on why Rose wanted to strip Khalifa of custodial rights, but it may have something to do with claims that he was unfaithful. On Thursday, the model took to Twitter to address rumors that she herself was cheating, writing, “Please stop with the fake stories. I would never cheat on my husband in a million years…” followed by, “unfortunately my now ex husband can’t say the same.”

One thing the two apparently can agree on, though, is the settlement that Rose will receive. Gossip Cop reports that Khalifa will not contest the pre-nup they signed, which awards the model a $1 million lump sum, in addition to $5,000 in monthly spousal support. While  Khalifa has reportedly been telling people that Rose cheated on him with Nick Cannon (who recently announced that he will be producing a reality show with her as the star), California is a no-fault divorce state, so no adultery committed by either party is even relevant.
