Will Steve Jobs Hate iPhone 6 And 6 Plus? Late Apple CEO 'Hated' iPad Mini, Siri, And Giving Money To Charities

Steve Jobs has always been known to detest big screens. But he was also said to hate a lot of things, like the iPad mini, Siri and even giving money to charity. What do you think will he say about the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus?

In 2010, Jobs claimed that mobile phones are like "Hummers". He went as far as saying that "no one is going to buy a big phone" as "you can't get your hand around it".

Samsung obviously hasn't forgotten his infamous statement:

They tweeted: "No one is ever going to buy a big phone." Then adds, "Guess who surprised themselves and changed their minds."

Do you think Jobs would have hated the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus? Well, probably. It's difficult to say. But on second thought, there are a lot of changes happening in Apple lately, which we don't think Jobs would approve.

iPad mini

It was said that Steve Jobs hated the 7-inch iPad. As reported by the New York Times, a former Apple employee overheard Jobs saying that the iPad mini was good for nothing besides "surfing the web in the bathroom". He had also been quoted several times saying that one needs to "sandpaper your fingers down" to use them.

Siri

Back in 2012, when people had been quite unsure of what to make of Siri, a former employee told Fortune that "People are embarrassed by Siri". The source added that "Steve would have lost his mind over Siri".

Charities

As CNET reports, when Tim Cook took over Apple, he began to donate money to charitable institutions, something that Jobs would have "never done". Unlike Bill Gates, Jobs was not known for his philanthropy. Rumors even say that he was opposed to giving money away!

Are you happy with all the changes that's been happening lately? Well, Apple just sold over 10 million iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in the first weekend, so who knows? Jobs might have been wrong about the big screens after all.
