Bradley Cooper Gushes Over ‘Serena’ Co-Star Jennifer Lawrence, Says He’s ‘So Proud Of Her’ And Talks Constant Struggle To Maintain Success In Hollywood
Acting can be a tough business. Bradley Cooper admits that there's one person who has a habit of making work more enjoyable, however. Jennifer Lawrence!
And while frequent co-stars Cooper and Lawrence, prepare to promote their upcoming film "Serena," the 39-year-old leading man admits that he still feels insecure when losing out on big movie roles.
"We've had so much fun working together, and I'm so proud of her success," Cooper gushed in reference to Jennifer Lawrence in an interview with Square Mile, which was published by the Daily Mail.
"Serena" is the third film in which the pair has starred together. They also starred in David O. Russell's "Silver Linings Playbook" and "American Hustle."
When asked about JLaw, Cooper couldn't help but compliment the 24-year-old actress's laid back personality.
"She's one of the most down to Earth and unpretentious individuals you could ever meet, and it's such a pleasure to spend time with her," said Cooper.
"She's incredibly talented," he continued. "She's one of those natural performers who are instinctively good at what they do."
The actor also acknowledged that finding fame and success in his career has not made him exempt from doubt and anxiety.
"I struggled for a long time, and you never forget what you went through to finally make it," explained Cooper. "Even with the success I've had, I still fight for roles that I don't wind up getting, so there's still enough uncertainty to keep you hungry."
He continued, "There's this crushing anxiety you feel when you're not getting the parts you want, and you wonder if acting is your destiny."
We think it's safe to say that after receiving two Oscar nominations, however, Cooper shouldn't worry too much about showing the world his talent.
"Serena," starring the Cooper and his fav leading lady, and directed by Susanne Bier, will hit theatres on March 27 and VOD on February 26th.
