Denzel Washington's action thriller film debuted in more than 3200 theaters on Friday, and it was able to nab more than $12 million. With this earnings, the movie, which reunited Washington with his "Training Day" director, Antoine Fuqua, topped the box office.

The post on Hollywood Reporter noted: "The Equalizer is benefiting from playing in Imax theaters and large-format screens, the preferred venue for males. It also features Eminem's new single, "Guts Over Fear," featuring Sia."

Furthermore, according to trackers, "The Equalizer" will likely earn around $30 to $35 million in the US during its debut weekend. 

More moviegoers will be able to watch "The Equalizer" full movie as it is set to open in more countries next week. According to IMDB's list of the film's release schedule, fans of action and/horror films in Switzerland, France and Philippines can watch "The Equalizer" full movie.

Meanwhile, on October 2, the film from Sony Pictures will be released in Brazil, Malta, Uruguay and Cambodia.
