Miles Teller and Keleigh Sperry are making their relationship super public amidst all the Oscar buzz about his Sundance film ‘Whiplash’! He even quit his Instagram to leave all the picture responsibilities on his model girlfriend. But the most surprising Miles Teller news of the week is that he secretly hated filming ‘Divergent’.

With ‘Whiplash’ gaining even more hype after the Sundance Film Festival, Miles Teller spilled the beans on scoring the role for the movie.

“When I first read Whiplash, I was feeling dead inside,” he said to W Magazine. “I didn’t have an interesting part [in ‘Divergent’], and I’d taken the film for business reasons: It was the first movie I’d done that was going to have an international audience. I called my agent and said, ‘This sucks.’ He told me about ‘Whiplash’.”

But making good impressions on other people is least of ‘Divergent’ actor’s priorities. He recently opted to make his relationship with girlfriend Keleigh Sperry very, very public by inundating her Instagram feed with their couple-y pictures.

He also has been drinking in ‘Whiplash’ hype, hoping that all this PR work will turn to buzz into an actual Oscar nomination.

About preparing for ‘Whiplash’, Miles Teller said that he “lost his ‘Divergent’ muscle tone. He also isolated himself from the outside world, to the point where his friend and frequent co-star Shailene Woodley told W, "I tried to talk to Miles when he was making Whiplash, and it was difficult even to find him.””
