Galaxy Note 4: Release Date & Specs Review [NEWS]

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4, one of the most highly-anticipated smart phones slated for launch, is expected for an October 17 release date.

The phone is being offered for T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon and Sprint networks, but the latter is charging $50 with a subscription lasting two years.

In regards to specs, the Galaxy Note 4 offers a 5.7-inch diagonal display along with an S Pen used for writing and drawing.

"Other companies are releasing smartphones with 5-inch and 6-inch displays as well but no one can easily catch up to Samsung's big screen and the unique capability of the S Pen," Lee Don-joo, president of Samsung's mobile sales and marketing, said during a recent press conference, the Epoch Times reports.

Attention surrounding the Galaxy Note 4's release date specs surged after competitor Apple launched its iPhone 6. Although the iPhone 6's screen specs have become increasingly larger, the Galaxy Note 4 offers a larger screen size.

Samsung announced earlier this week that the Galaxy Note 4 will go on sale in China and South Korea later this month.
