American Horror Story: Freak Show Season 4 Opener Will Be 90 Minutes With Series Most Terrifying Villain [VIDEO]

American Horror Story: Freak Show promises to be the scariest in the series. FX released four scary teaser trailers and creator Ryan Murphy announced that the AHS Freak Show season 4 premiere will be 90 minutes long.  On tops of that  the fourth season of the horror anthology also promises American Horror Story's scariest villain.

Ryan Murphy promised to supersize the AHS: Freak Show debut, making it the longest premiere for the horror anthology series yet. AHS: Freak Show will open with a 90 minute episode. That's a half hour more than the usual nightmare. American Horror Story also announced that newcomer John Lynch will the most terrifying villain. Reports say that will be the clown killer.

Ryan Murphy, the creator of American Horror Story, announced via Twitter "Excited to announce the AHS: Freak Show Premiere on October 8 will be a super-sized 90 minutes."

Executive producer Tim Minear tesed that the show's "central core villain," the clown killer, will "scare the s**t out of you."

In the next season will be American Horror Story: Freak Show. Kathy Bates plays a bearded lady.  Angela Bassett has three boobs. Sarah Paulson is the two-headed woman. Jyoti Amge is the world's smallest woman. Michael Chiklis is the world's strongest man. Jessica Lange is Elsa Mars the mistress of ceremonies. John Carroll Lynch plays a killer clown called Twisty. Patti LaBelle stirs the soul.

Co-creator Ryan Murphy hinted that the season four plot  "feels really right. I thought it was going to be light but it's turning out to be quite terrifyingly dark, which it feels much more like the Asylum season. But look - if you have a character named the Clown Killer, it's going to be dark. The most terrifying clown ever!"

The official AHS: Freak show synopsis from FX says: "American Horror Story: Freak Show' begins its tale in the quiet, sleepy hamlet of Jupiter, Florida. The year is 1952. A troupe of curiosities has just arrived to town, coinciding with the strange emergence of a dark entity that savagely threatens the lives of townsfolk and freaks alike. This is the story of the performers and their desperate journey of survival amidst the dying world of the American carny experience."
