Anne Hathaway Says She Has Learned To Chill in Elle Interview; Promotes Upcoming Film 'Interstellar'

Despite the immense success she has experienced lately in her acting career, Anne Hathaway still said that the first years of her life as a celebrity is never that easy, the Daily Mail reports. The Les Miserables star posed for Elle Magazine for its November issue with Anne's interview of her success story and latest movie project, Interstellar.

"This fame thing? F--ked me up for a really long time. I didn't know how to do it; I didn't know how to engage with it; it stressed me out. And people would say, 'You just have to be yourself,' and I was like, 'But I don't know who that is yet!"'

The recently-turned vegan actress admitted to have questions regarding her own identity which she said, she has happily come to terms with through time. And with this, she does not need approval from everybody.

"I've realized that I don't need validation from anybody. At all. I'm not sitting here now worrying, 'What do you think of me?' With all due respect, "you seem like a lovely lady, but I don't need you, or anyone else, to like me. And that's so liberating," the 31-year old actress addresses the Ele interviewer.

One thing that the Devil Wears Prada actress has learned in her entire career is to learn how to relax amidst pressure.

"The thing I've learned this past year is to chill out. I think when you're young and struggling to find yourself, there's something alluring about the idea of being tortured. Life for me these days is a lot about letting the unknown be wonderful, and letting myself feel safe," she said.

In the cover of the Ele November issue, Anne is wearing a silk black Armani tuxedo emphasizing her svelte frame and long legs while exposing a bit of her black sexy bra. She is seated in a red couch, her fierce expression intensified with her dark red lipstick.

While the actress is busy with her ongoing project with Robert de Niro on the comedy The Intern, she announced an upcoming movie entitled Interstellar, said to be released on theaters this coming November.

"We met on this in 2011 - I was working on Batman - and then we developed this script and the music for two years, then we shot it in June. And we had been planning on shooting in the fall and then Chris Nolan called with an offer for a part in his new movie," the Princess Diaries actress related her experience.

Interstellar is a sci-fi film that talks about the journey of astronauts, wherein Anne will play one of the roles, who want to discover more about the galaxy while inside an intersellar wormhole.

With her in the movie are Matthew McConaughey, Michael Caine and Jessica Chastain.
