I Am Not A Normal Person' Says Jennifer Love Hewitt In Interview; Admits She Gave 'Strange Gift' To Matt Damon As Gift

Jennifer Love Hewitt fondly recalls a memory when she was a teenager and she gave an Aero Bed to Matt Damon before actually meeting him out of sympathy that the Bourne Identity Star is reported to be always on travel and is always busy. The 32-year old singer-actress, in an interview, shared stories of her funny choice of presents while laughing with Jimmy Kimmel in his show on Monday.

'I'm not a normal person.  I must have been 19 or 20 years old,' she recalled. 'I was reading an article and obviously Matt Damon and Ben Affleck had just blown up big time. I was reading the article and he [Matt Damon] said this really sad thing about how all of his dreams were coming true in the business and he was working really hard but he didn't really feel like these days that he had a bed of his own."

"Like he was travelling so much and I remember being really busy also and thinking That's so sad, to have all your dreams come true but not feel like you had a really solid foundation," the Barenaked songstress further recalled.

Further, the actress said that she did not consult anybody about her decision to send that strange gift but sends it anyway. The Goodwill Hunting is said to be on Paris that time filming and thus Hewitt sends that huge gift to Paris.

"And of course, now I [realise], he was probably at the Savoy in this giant suite and here comes security with this little AeroBed from yuck yuck in Hollywood. I sent it to Paris and I never got a thank you," the new mother shared without hesitation.

Aside from her role as FBI agent Kate Callahan in Criminal Minds Season 10 which starts this month, Jennifer enjoyed her role being a mother to her baby Autumn who was born on November last year.
