Jordin Sparks, Jason Derulo’s ‘Marry Me’ Not The Only Cause Of Split? ‘American Idol’ Alum Says ‘Talk Dirty’ Singer Can Have His BMW Back

Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo's "Marry Me" appears to be not the only cause of their split as the "American Idol" said that she will return the BMW the "Talk Dirty" singer gifted her for Christmas.

In an interview with the Wendy Williams show, according to USA Today, the Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo split was not about the music video.

When the host asked her how she's doing, she replied: "I'm good, really no really, I'm good. I know you think that I'm not good but really, I'm good."

"I'm exploring my neighborhood. I'm finding places I [where] like to eat [and] meeting new people. It's been really great," she added.

On the Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo's "Marry Me" music video, she confessed, "Hey listen, we set ourselves up for that."

On the BMW that he gave her for Christmas, the "American Idol" alum said: "I thought about it, yeah. I haven't really had time to think about it but yeah I probably will. He can have it."

The "American Idol" alum, however, refused to tell whether the rumors that the Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo split was caused by the "Talk Dirty" singer's cheating ways.

"I actually don't want to comment on that," said Jordin Sparks.

The British tabloid MailOnline reported on the apparent reason for the split and it's not because of Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo's "Marry Me" music video.

The tabloid cited a Radar Online report which claimed that the singer has cheated on Jordin Sparks with Carmen Ortega. The 30-year-old has admitted that they dated for a while but she's not a homewrecker as she wasn't aware of his relationship at that time.

"We dated for a month. We went out in public with friends a few times, so I assumed he didn't have a girlfriend," she said, explaining that they met at the Los Angeles recording studio last summer and exchanged contacts which led to the fling.
