Big Bang and Girl's Generation (SNSD) Help Create More Jobs for Young Adults

YG Entertainment has been earning a lot of income from the YG Family Concert in Japan. This concert which was held 4 times, earned a total of 30 million dollars. (30 billion won)

World famous online store eBay also has made $63,000 just this month from YG merchandise.

A senior researcher at Korea Contents has stated that recent cultural exports have all been dramas, movies and K-Pop.

In Japan, Girls' Generation, TVXQ and KARA alone can make up to billions of dollars just with their record sales.

It has been revealed that many cultural goods export industries have doubled in employees. Nexon's staff of 3,000 has 500 employees working overseas. 70% of they total revenue is from overseas. 

Cultural exports are in need of full support from the government. A researcher from Samsung's Economic Research institute stated that we cannot think of these cultural exports as just merchandise, but rather as the new center of job creation for this generation.
