‘Sex And The City 3’ Happening? Jennifer Hudson Reveals Another Movie Could Be In The Works!

Could Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte, and Samantha be returning to the big screen?

In an interview with Dish Nation, actress Jennifer Hudson hinted that "Sex and the City 3" just might be a possibility.

"I think it might be [happening]," Hudson hinted in the interview.

"Somebody just came to me talking about that. So if it's in the talks, it might happen. So look out for your girl Louise from St. Louis."

Hudson, who starred as Louise in the first film based on the highly popular HBO television series, sounded somewhat excited by the possibility of returning for another sequel to the mega-successful franchise.

As for the four lead actresses who helped build the "Sex and the City" brand, they've also opened up about the potential for another film.

Sarah Jessica Parker recently told Harper's Bazaar that she and the director of the first two films, Michael Patrick King, who also wrote for the TV series, have discussed prospective storylines for the sequel in question. 

"Michael and I know what the story would be, but when and if it's ever told, there has been no concrete discussion about it ever," Sarah Jessica Parker told the magazine.

Parker later told In Style that she believes there may be more story left for Carrie Bradshaw.  

"A part of me thinks there is one last chapter to tell," said Parker. "But timing is a peculiar thing. It isn't a decision that can wait forever. I don't want to have to wear muumuus!"

Actress Kristin Davis showed some doubt, however, when discussing the idea of "Sex and the City 3" with Haute Living.

"I don't think [a third film] is a pipe dream, there is discussion. People talk about it amongst the people who are the players, but I don't know if it will come together. It would be very exciting if it did," said Davis.

On Friday (Oct. 3) Parker and Davis shared a couple of loving messages to one another on Instagram. The posts also suggested that something exciting could be in store for their fictional Manhattanite characters.
