Prometheus 2 Plot News: Script Ready After 15 Drafts; Release Date Set For 2016?

"Prometheus 2" plot news reveals that the script is finally ready after 15 drafts as the release date for the movie is rumored to be set for 2016.

According to the "Prometheus 2" plot news from Geek Exchange, there will be no alien Xenomorphs in the second installment .

"The beast is done. Cooked...I got lucky meeting Giger all those years ago. It's very hard to repeat that. I just happen to be the one who forced it through because they said it's obscene. They didn't want to do it and I said, 'I want to do it, it's fantastic'. But after four, I think it wears out a little bit. There's only so much snarling you can do," he said.

He also said that he's almost happy with the latest script after 15 drafts that were sent to him.

"I think we've found the next step. I thought the Engineers were quite a good start," he said.

In another interview with Entertainment Weekly, Ridley Scott said that the draft penned by Michael Green and Hampton Fancher is "damn good." He teased that the 16thdraft involved Harrison, "who is a survivor after all these years-despite the ACCIDENT..."

The director also teased "Prometheus 2" plot news when he quipped that that fans will "find out how he (David) gets his head back on" in the second installment.

The "Prometheus 2" release date is set on March 4, 2016 although that still could change as the final script for the movie isn't even finished yet.

Then there are reports that Michael Fassbender's busy schedule, as well as Ridley Scott's many commitments, will also affect the "Prometheus 2" release date and push it back further.

"With two movies to direct before the 'Prometheus 2' release date, don't be surprised if "Prometheus 2" is either delayed again (it was originally scheduled for 2015), or is handed over to someone else to direct," iDigital Times said.
