Despite rumors that Joe Jonas and model Gigi Hadid are dating and "in love," it appears that the pair are claiming they're "just friends."

Meanwhile, they continue to spend quite a bit of friendly time together.

"They're just friends and have been for years," Hadid's rep told JustJared.com.

"Gigi is 100% single and focusing on her career. Anything to the contrary is absolutely false."

This denial that Hadid and Jonas are dating comes just as a source reportedly told Hollywood Life that the couple are definitely an item.

"If there are any skeptics on if their relationship is real, there is one thing that needs to be known," a source told the publication. "They are exclusive and they are really in love. Things are beyond serious!"

Hmm... so, what's the truth behind this pair's relationship status?

Rumors of a budding romance between 19-year-old Hadid and 25-year-old Jonas sparked up after the duo were spotted together at a U.S. Open after party in September.

Jonas and Hadid appeared together in several Instagram pictures from that evening, partying the night away with the Women's championship winner Serena Williams and runner-up Caroline Wozniacki.

Since then, the pair has been photographed spending time together on multiple occasions.

Most recently, Jonas and Hadid attended a Kings of Leon concert together in Los Angeles on Oct. 3. According to JustJared.com, the two were seen riding in the same car to a party at the Warwick after the show.

Hadid ended a three-year relationship with Australian pop star Cody Simpson in July after a year together, while Jonas broke up with girlfriend Blanda Eggenschwiler ended earlier this year after two years of dating.
