Miss USA Nia Sanchez Is Engaged To Daniel Booko! See The Gorgeous Ring And Read The Details Of The Romantic Proposal!
Miss USA is engaged! Nia Sanchez, who won the beauty pageant title on June 8th this year, is reportedly set to wed her actor boyfriend Daniel Booko.
Booko surprised his bride-to-be with quite the romantic proposal.
After Booko popped the question, he posted a photo on Instagram of the couple sharing a sweet kiss.
"Can't wait to spend forever with my love and best friend @realniasanchez @missusa!! #bestnightever #TheBookos," he captioned the pic.
Sanchez also took to her Instagram, reposting the photo with a caption of her own.
"We are engaged!!!! so in love with my fiancé @danielbooko," she wrote.
For the big night, Booko rented out the Suite Royale at the NoMad Hotel in New York. He reportedly covered the 700-square-foot terrace with flowers and candles.
"She's thinking she's going to an event with friends...[and] I will be there looking all dapper in a suit decorated with candles and flowers and the whole thing and have her come over-just her and I to have an intimate moment-then get down on one knee and propose, then pop champagne and celebrate," the actor told Rumor Fix just before the proposal.
Booko also designed Sanchez's engagement ringThe platinum, two-carat diamond sparkler has a red, white, and blue stone added inside the band to celebrate the beauty queen's Miss USA title. According to E! News, the ring was done in collaboration with INTA Gems and Diamonds, the company that creates the crowns for Miss California.
Sanchez's friend Alicia Blanco, the 2009 Miss USA second runner-up, also shared a photo of the couple as Booko got down on bended knee.
"YES IT'S TRUE! @danielbooko put a ring on @realniasanchez ! @missusa is ENGAGED he did gooooood!" Blanco wrote on Instagram. "More pics to follow. All I can say is that it was PERFECT! Such a fairytale to witness it."
