Jessica Chastaine Bares Skin In 'Interview' Cover; Talks About McAvoy’s Lightness In The Disappearance Of Eleanor Rigby

Considered one of the most in-demand actresses of our time, Jessica Chastaine is featured in the cover of Interview magazine for its 45th year anniversary October issue with a couple of sultry shots, one of those shows her crossing her arms on her chest subtly revealing her cleavage. In this issue, she reveals her shy side as well as that awkward in the shooting of a make-out scene with James McAvoy in the 2013 movie "The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby".

With Mindy Kaling, the 33-year old actress shared that she is not really into parties when she was still younger and she needs to warm-up before she can join a party crowd.

"I experience this all the time - every time I go to a party, I feel so old. Even 10 years ago, or when I was going out in college, I always felt like, 'Oh my God, I'm so old.' I'm not the crazy, wild girl, so I need to knock back a few drinks in order to let loose and have a good time," she said in the interview.

The interview moved on to the inquiry of more recent events in the Zero Dark Thirty actress particularly in her role in The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby. It was pointed out that the actress has to set aside her shy personality for that make-out scene with McAvoy.

Chastaine considers the experience very funny saying, "I actually had difficulty keeping a straight face on The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby, especially because James McAvoy is super, super funny, and he improvise a lot."

Further, she said "I looked at him, like, 'You're so stupid,' and started laughing. That's in the film. James has so much lightness and love around him that, even when we were working on the difficult, sad scenes, between takes we had a feeling of celebrating life..."

The actress said that working with McAvoy gives variety to her acting career as she has always been assigned to dramatic and serious roles in other movie projects.

"With any kind of acting, you're basically living the emotion that you're going to work in every day, so sometimes I'm like, 'I am so tired of crying, how great would it be to experience joy and laughter every day?"

Jessica Chastaine will also be seen in the upcoming Christopher Nolan film "Interstellar" a sci-fi drama that revolves on the astronaut's journey in outer space. She will appear together with Anne Hathaway and Matthew McConaughey. The movie is set to be released on November 7.
