5 Facts About ‘Revenge’ Star Emily VanCamp: Josh Bowman Isn’t The First Co-Star She Dated, She Loves 'The Walking Dead,' And More!

"Revenge" star Emily VanCamp might be portrayed as the manipulative Emily Thorne but in real life, the 28-year-old is a graceful ballerina who admits to still experience awkwardness in social gatherings. Here are five fast facts about the blonde beauty:

1. Josh Bowman isn't the first co-star she dated.

Prior to dating Bowman, who plays the role of her husband in "Revenge," VanCamp had a relationship with her "Brothers and Sisters" co-star Dave Annable. Annable was her on-screen brother but producers later altered the plot so that their characters were no longer siblings. Such change allowed them to kiss freely on-screen.

VanCamp admits not to talk about her relationships during interviews. Nonetheless, she told GQ that she wouldn't hide her romance with a person: "I don't really ever talk about that part of my life, but I'm also not going to stop living my life. I want to live happily. And if I love a person, I'm not going to be ashamed and hide it."

2. She's a ballerina but considers fishing more therapeutic.

When she was 11 years old, she transferred to Montreal to become a ballerina. Her older sister, however, was the first one to be selected to play a ballerina in a film. VanCamp visited her sister on the set where she was discovered.

"It all kind of progressed from there pretty quickly. I met my manager, and he's still my manager today-I started working and realized I loved it a lot more than dance," she told Vanity Fair.

Despite her penchant for ballet, she also has her heart on fishing. "I did ballet, which taught me how to be poised and graceful, but still, to this day I'd rather be fishing than going to some glamorous party. It's so therapeutic," she told GQ.

3. She loves zombies.

Thanks to one ex-boyfriend, VanCamp developed a fascination for zombies. She admits to watching "every zombie movie ever made." She is also a fan of AMC's "Walking Dead."

4. She still finds herself feeling awkward in social situations.

Even if she's in the entertainment industry, Josh Bowman's girlfriend says that she can still feel socially awkward: "You never want to be the weird, introverted girl in the corner shaking. I feel like that though."

5. She still gets starstruck.

VanCamp admits that she once got starstruck when she met "The Devil Wears Prada" actress Meryl Streep: "I met Meryl Streep at an Oscar party. She was just so graceful, beautiful, and kind. I couldn't not say hello. But I was so anxious."
