Selena Gomez Reveals Taylor Swift Is ‘Begging Her’ To Move To New York! Will Starlet Leave Los Angeles After Rumored Split With Justin Bieber?

Is Selena Gomez thinking of ditching the West Coast for NYC?

The 22-year-old actress recently revealed that her BFF Taylor Swift has been trying to convince her to make the move to New York.

"I'd love to spend time in New York," Gomez told E! News at a promotional event for her new film "Rudderless." "I've always said that I want to have a love affair and live there."

Gomez admitted that she's been feeling the pressure from her longtime friend Taylor Swift to leave L.A.

"Taylor has been begging me to live there," said Gomez. "She's like, 'It's the best decision I've ever made.' Everyone always says I'm more New York when they meet me so maybe it would be good for me. I don't spend enough time there."

Swift purchased two apartments, which she combined, in the Tribeca neighborhood of NYC in April for $19.9 million. And the "Shake It Off" star has been known to host quite a few of her celebrity friends at her 8,108 square foot pad.  

As for Gomez, planning a move could be tough considering how busy the starlet is these days. In addition to promoting her new film, Gomez is also juggling a music career and hopes to expand her work in fashion.  

"My line wrapped up at Kmart and that was honestly the best way it could have happened for me," Gomez told E! News. "I think now that I'm getting older and trying out new things, it's maybe elevated a little. I haven't had plans yet, but I do know that I want that."

Well, perhaps the star's hectic schedule will calm down a bit since she is rumored to have broken up with on-again off-again boyfriend Justin Bieber after Paris Fashion Week.
