Gwyneth Paltrow Confirms Clothing Line; Addresses Martha Stewert Diss

It's official! Gwyneth Paltrow's clothing line has been confirmed. After being tagged as one of Hollywood's best dressed stars for years, the actress will finally venture into designing her own fashion line.

According to a report from E! News, Gwyneth Paltrow's clothing line will be launched on her lifestyle website, Goop, in 2015.

This is not the first time the actress has dabbled into designing, though, as she had previously released collections in collaboration with designers including Michael Kors, Dian von Furstenberg and Stella McCartney. The new line, however, will be a solo effort for Paltrow.

Meanwhile, Paltrow has reacted to Martha Stewart diss wherein the lifestyle guru said that if the actress "were confident in her acting she wouldn't be trying to be Martha Stewart."

The Oscar-winning actress gave a statement on Tuesday at the 16thFortune Most Powerful Women Summit in California, at first joking: "No one has ever said anything bad about me before, so I'm shocked and devastated. I'll try to recover."

She then added "I think that when anybody criticizes anyone, it really is revealing more about where they are in time and space as opposed to where you are in time and space. [When] we tend to lash out ... it's usually a reflection of something else, and so I try not to ... take it personally. I see it as a projection ... [but] sometimes I learn good things from criticism."

To end her statement, the actress said: "I'm so psyched that she sees us as competition."

It was recently reported that Paltrow hired Lisha Gersh as goop's new CEO. Gersh was previously Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia's CEO.

In a statement, Paltrow explained why she decided on hiring Gersh, saying: "She's the perfect person to build on the momentum we have already created at goop, and to diversify our opportunities to bring goop's positive energy directly to consumers in what they read, what they try, what they buy and how they live."

Gwyneth Paltrow's clothing line will reportedly be the first of many things to expect from goop now that it has a new leader.
