Arnold Schwarzenegger's Son Joseph Baena Now A Teenager, Will He Follow His Father's Footsteps?

It was not until 2011 that Arnold Schwarzenegger's secret of having a love child with household employee, Mildred Patricia 'Patty' Baena has been known to wife, Maria Shriver and made known the public eye. This year, TMZ spotted Joseph Baena all grown up, enjoying his first 17 years of his life and being almost crowned as the prom queen in the Frontier High School in Bakersfield, CA last month.

Pictures in TMZ show that Joseph is all grown up wearing a black tuxedo, cream colored underclothes with a rose boutonnière in his chest, his shoulder-length wavy hair flowing freely. In one picture, he is with his mother Patty Baena, in an all-black apparel with a denim jacket, smiling proudly beside his son. In another picture, he is seen with a girl said to be a partner in the competition seated at the back of a Porsche convertible.

The Expendables 3 star is nowhere to be seen in any of the pictures.

Sources in Daily Mail linked a strong similarity of Joseph's smile and the ex-California governor's with one of the captions saying, "That grin looks familiar: Clearly Joseph has inherited his action star father's looks, including his smile."

It is said that Schwarzenegger has never been close to his estranged son ever since but the Daily Mail said that the Terminator star had started acknowledging Baena as his son in public gathering particularly in the promotion of the Expendables 3 in which other stars like Sylvester Stallone also brought his wife and three daughters.

Further, it is said that the Terminator star bought Patty and Joseph a property in Bakersfield with four bedrooms and a swimming pool. Further, Joseph also received a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon worth $30,000 from his father as Christmas gift.

Patty is a loyal housekeeper working in the Schwarzenegger for 20 years. It is only until 2011 when Maria Shriver, Arnold's journalist wife, found out about Arnold's lovechild that the housekeeper retired from her employers. Shriver also left his husband on May 9, 2011 after knowing the affair.

It was on May 16, 2011 that the issue has been revealed publicly in the Los Angeles Times with the award-winning actor saying "After leaving the governor's office I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago."

Joseph and Christopher, one of Arnold's kids with Shriver, are said to be born almost the same time with Joseph born on October 2, 1997 and his half brother on September 27, 1997.
