Mark Wahllberg House: Hollywood Actor Moving In To 30,000 Square Foot Mansion After 5-Year Construction, Sells Former House Before Moving In

Mark Wahlberg has a new 30,000 square foot house still in Beverly Hills and it's larger than his previous which is 11,500 square foot sold for $13 million. The new house is said to have started its construction in 2009 with architect Richard Landry, who also designed Brady and Gisele Bundchen's house, Reality World Online said.

Aerial photos of the Daily Mail show the features of the new house including its "two-story edifice, its standard-size basketball court, putting green, guest house, swimming pool with a water slide, a three-car garage and a large motor court. It is also said that there is a wine cellar, a gym, a home cinema and a two-storey library for Mark's four children Ella Rae, 9 years old, Michael, 7, Brendan, 4 and Grace, three years old.

Richarld Landry, who collaborated with builder John Flinton, describes the Ted actor's house as a traditional house that mainly targets the needs of his family.

'There are no ginormous rooms here - there's no ballroom, no bowling alley, no indoor basketball court. I've done most of those kinds of things in other projects, but here it's really a good traditional family house with no craziness to it," he told The Hollywood Reporter.

Meanwhile, earlier reports this month on the Daily Mail has recorded the actor's move in selling his 11,500 square foot Mediterranean home that he bought in 2001. Originally priced for $15 million dollars, Wahlberg reduced its unit cost to $12, 995 this year.

Since, its purchase in 2001 for a smaller amount of $5 million, Mark and his model wife Rhea Durnham made a series of remodeling projects that resulted in its new structure.

The previous mansion boosts of a recording studio, a fitness gym,  boxing ring, basketball, racquetball and tennis courts. Further, the main house which has an area of 9000 square foot has five bedrooms and eight bathrooms. It also has additional guestrooms.
