The Mentalist Season 7 Spoilers: Robin Tunney's Teresa Lisbon Gets Caught In Family Drama; Cast Tim Kang Documenting Last Season

"The Mentalist" season 7 spoilers show that Robin Tunney's Teresa Lisbon will find herself in the middle of a family drama, as cast Tim Kang is determined to document the last season of the series.

According to "The Mentalist" season 7 spoilers by Entertainment Weekly, Derek Phillips of "Friday Night Lights" and Rob Belushi, who once guested on "How I Met Your Mother" will also be appearing on "The Mentalist."

Rob Belushi will play the role of Jimmy Lisbon, the younger brother or Teresa Lisbon who is described as "smart and underachieving" but with a gambling problem.

"Wanted for questioning in regards to the murder of a high-profile attorney, Jimmy must put aside his differences with his sister in order to clear his name and help Jane (Simon Baker) and Lisbon catch a killer," it said.

Meanwhile, Dereck Phillips will play Stan Lisbon, who is described as a hardworking family man.

"When their younger brother Jimmy's legal woes threaten to reveal problems of his own, Stan must choose between his loyalty to family and his pride," the article noted.

In his Twitter, Tim Kang posted: "Trust me. This last season will be awesome. @RockmondDunbar, @JpAdler, and @josloren rock! Fantastic actors!!"

He even provided some 'The Mentalist" sesaon 7 'spoilers': "'Cho' might even smile every once in a while this season. HA!"

Then Tim Kang promised to do his "best to document this last season."

This year, the show's creators have promised to touch on the Patrick Jane and Teresa Lisbon romance after the Red John saga.

In a report from The Hollywood Reporter, Robin Tunney said that this is the time for the show to change mythology and explore the love story between her character and Simon Baker's character.

"It would've been really inappropriate during all the Red John stuff," Teresa Lisbon said.
