Ray Allen News: Future Hall Of Famer's Agent Dismisses Rumor of Allen Going To Cavs

For Ray Allen fans who are looking for the latest news about their most favorite NBA player, you may be thinking that the future Hall of Famer is already a lock for the Cleveland Cavaliers to join former Heat teammate LeBron James.

However, in a report by NBA.com, it appears that it would not be the case.

According to Allen's agent, Jim Tanner, the 39-year-old marksman has not even decided yet whether he would play another NBA season, what more choose the Cavs as his next team.

In the report, Tanner reportedly talked to Allen on Tuesday and asked him again. Again, the 19-year- veteran's position has not changed.

"Ray's position has not changed", says Tanner. "Ray has not decided if he will play this season nor has he signed with the Cavs."

This off-season, rumors around the league have been pointing of the possibility for Allen to join LeBron in Cleveland. In previous reports, James himself has expressed his interest to play alongside the future Hall of Fame 3-point specialist.

After James moved to Cleveland, his former Heat teammates have joined him including Mike Miller and James Jones. Cleveland traded its two previous overall draft picks and another first round pick to the Wolves for Kevin Love.

The Cavs have since added other veterans such as Shawn Marion and even Keith Bogans to make for a more well-rounded team. Bogans' acquisition can be considered as a crucial one as he and Allen's role are similar on the floor.

Signing the veteran Bogans could be a hint that Allen will not be joining Cleveland's cause and quest to win its first championship in franchise history.

Moreover, as may have seen the last of Allen as he previously mentioned that he is well contented with everything he has accomplished.
