Chakra The Invincible Movie In The Works As Stan Lee And Marvel Studios Wants To Introduce The First Indian Superhero On The Big Screen!

Stan Lee Is Developing A Film Version Of His First Indian Superhero Comic Character, chakra The Invincible; Spiderman Creator Is All Set To Hit Bollywood.

Former president and chairman of Marvel Comics, Stan Lee is going Bollywood. In 2011, Lee launched his first Indian superhero comic character, Chakra The Invincible. An exclusive report by THR reveals that the legendary superhero creator is now developing a film version of the property.

Indian character entertainment company Graphic India along with Lee's POW! Entertainment is developing the project. In order to adapt Chakra as a Bollywood live action film, Lee along with his producing partners, Gill Champion from POW! Entertainment and Sharad Devarajan, Graphic India CEO have been meeting leading Bollywood producers, directors and writers.

The original comic centers on Raju Rai, an Indian teenager who is a technology genius living in Mumbai. In an attempt to unlock the secrets of human potential using science, Raju designs a technically-augmented suit that activate the mystical Chakras of the body and releases newfound abilities and powers.

The film is developed with Chakra character's grown-up version tackling his arch-enemy, Boss Yama. Via social media, Lee disclosed the first set of concept images of Chakra's new older-version. Lee didn't give any names as to what kind of Bollywood talent has been approached for the project. In a statement, Lee said, "We've set up some great meetings already with some of the most amazingly talented actors and directors in Indian cinema and I have no doubt that these individuals will help make the Chakra film a massive hit in India and around the globe."

The project is scheduled to start details pre-production probably by the first quarter of 2015 and by the end of next year or early 2016, it will go into production.
