Fleetwood Mac Tour Extended Till 2015; Rock Band Rejoined By Christine McVie After 16 Years Of Absence

Fans of the rock band that spawned hits including "Dreams" and "Go Your Own Way" will be more than delighted to learn that Fleetwood Mac's tour.

While there are only three remaining dates on this year's Fleetwood Mac tour, the group announced that they will continue to be on the road through March 2015.

The "On With the Show" tour will reportedly have 28 more dates. Mick Fleetwood, Lindsey Buckingham, John McVie, Stevie Nicks and Christine McVie - who rejoined the band this spring - will also return to the Forum in Inglewood, a familiar venue for the band and in which they have performed regular shows during the 1970s and 80s.

In an interview with the Huffington Post, Fleetwood, the band's drummer, shared what it's like to be reunited with the rest of the band and go back on the road in time for their 40th anniversary. "In the last year and a half, none of us in our wildest dreams would have thought that we would be going on this adventure," he said.

He added, "Our professional pipe dream has been fulfilled on such a fantastic grand level against hopeless odds, sometimes, most of which we created ourselves ... We are literally in heaven, floating on a cloud."

Christine, who rejoined the band after 16 years of absence, said "it's been the most profound experience of [her] entire life."

Fans of the band will be more than happy to hear more of them now that Christine is back and more dates have been announced. The second leg of the rock legends' tour will reportedly begin on January 16, 2015 in St. Paul, Minnesota and will end on March 31, 2015 at Wichita, Kansas.

Tickets will go on sale on October 20.

Fleetwood Mac's tour stop at Inglewood on December 6, 2014 will be the band's first show at the venue since December 7, 1990.
