Candidly Nicole Is Back! Season 2 Premiere Episode Is All About Magic!

"Candidly Nicole" is back! The House of Harlow 1960 creative director and Lionel Richie's daughter Nicole Richie's AOL web series returns for a second season. The show returns and promises to showcase more of Richie's antics.

The second run of "Candidly Nicole" premiered on October 9 and was focused on Richie's interest in becoming a magician's assistant. The series features different events and occasions in the reality star's life based on posts on her Twitter account.

"Today I'm here to learn a few tricks from a real magician ... I do think I would make a good magician's assistant because I heard that they're all gorgeous," said Richie in her signature nonchalantly humorous way.

According to a statement from VH1, viewers can expect a number of fun guests to appear on the show's second run including Matt Greene, Paul Scheer, Rashida Jones and Ryan Seacrest.

The show was picked up for a second season because it went beyond what its executive producers expected it to deliver, according to an earlier report from Variety.

"'Candidly Nicole' has surpassed every goal that we set for the launch," said VH1 executive for original programming and production Susan Levinson.

She added, "The series increased viewers in its time period by 50 percent, attracted thousands of new viewers to the channel and shared Nicole Richie's sharp wit and comedic flair for highlighting some of the absurdities of the real world. We couldn't be more thrilled to work with Nicole on another season."

As part of the promotion of her web series, Richie guested on the "Ellen DeGeneres Show" and did the Chubby Bunny challenge. She also did an interview with Ryan Seacrest for the latter's radio show and while she spoke about her show, she was also game to talk about Halloween. "[Joel Madden's] not that enthusiastic about Halloween. I am. I love dressing up. I like to be warm. I don't want to wear booty shorts. That's not me. I like to keep it light-hearted and funny," she said.

"Candidly Nicole" airs on AOL every Wednesday. Its extended version will air on VH1 in 2015.
