Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey split news hinted that the diva is ready to go dating again, as "America's Got Talent" host is mum on the cheating claims.

The Us Weekly has the latest Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey split news update as it reported that she asked rapper and old friend Nas to find her a date.

"The recently single '#Beautiful' singer, who separated from husband Nick Cannon in August, is looking to be set up in the wake of her split, and she's hoping the "Nasty" rapper will play matchmaker," a source told the magazine.

"The pop diva texted Nas, wondering if he had any friends she could go out with - or even JUST HOOK UP with," the source added.

But there's a hitch, since the rapper is "nervous to introduce her to anyone." It's not clear, however, if it's about her wealth or her diva reputation.

The two collaborated for the song "Dedicated," which is part of her new album "Me. I Am Mariah...The Elusive Chanteuse."

Meanwhile, Nick Cannon is mum about all the cheating rumors surrounding the split, which was fueled by Mariah Carey herself when she changed the lyrics of Billie Holiday's "Don't Explain" and ranted, "I know you cheated motherf----r," in the Tokyo leg of her Elusive Chanteuse World Tour.

In the Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey split news from Extra TV, the "America's Got Talent" host and DJ said that he's taking everything one day at a time and "just being the best person that I can possibly be at the end of the day."

On the huge crucifix tattoo that the "America's Got Talent" host got to cover up the "Mariah" ink across his back, he said: "It's not finished yet... It wasn't supposed to be revealed yet... I didn't know they were there, that's how sneaky paparazzi are... I had just gotten it done, it was painful... It hurt a lot and I'm still not finished, I'm still probably like six more sessions away."
