Watch ‘Ouija’ Movie Trailer And New TV Spot, ‘Bates Motel’ Cast Member Olivia Cooke Says She’s Never Used A Ouija Board Because ‘My Friends Were All Too Big Of A Wuss’

The premiere of the newest studio horror film "Ouija" is still a few weeks away but Universal is wasting no effort promoting the film. Recently they've premiered a new TV spot that explains the teens in the film have "unleashed an evil." Furthermore, "Bates Motel" cast member Olivia Cooke recently revealed in an interview that while she's always wanted to try playing with a "Ouija" board, her friends have prevented it from ever happening.

"Have I ever used one? No, I've never. My friends were all too big of a wuss to ever want to play with me," said "The Quiet Ones" actress Olivia Cooke to Interview Magazine.

Cooke went on to say that she would ask her friends to take a ouija board out to an abandoned barn and her friends would adamantly refuse, to which she'd agree. Based on the recent trailers for "Ouija," it's probably for the best.

"Ouija," which documents the story of a group of friends who try to contact their lost friend using the infinitely mysterious spirit board, is getting a lot of buzz these days. In addition to the frightening trailer, fans can also check out the latest TV spot, which promises plenty of terror for audiences should they catch it in theaters this October.

Speaking of the theatrical release, recently Box Office Pro considered the possibility of "Ouija" having a spectacular opening weekend. They predict that "Ouija" will fill the void of horror films left behind by the "Paranormal Activity" and "Saw" franchises. They also add that the film has a Michael Bay producing stamp, which often leads to at least a solid $20 million debut.

Whatever the results may be, "Ouija" will hit theaters on October 24th. Fans who are highly anticipating the film which stars "Bates Motel" cast member Olivia Cooke can check out the trailer and new TV spot below.
