Iggy Azalea Fights Back Saying Divorce Rumors Is 'Just A Waste Of My Time'; Is Hefe After Iggy’s Money?

After the alleged sex scandal, Iggy Azalea fights another issue this week when his ex Hefe Wine filed for divorce papers when according to Iggy, they were not actually married. In a recent Twitter post, the Fancy rapper continued to insist they were not married and she did not acknowledge the implication of the common-law marriage in Texas where she and her ex-partner had lived together.

"The whole cycle is stupid and a waste of my time #WhoGetsTheSilverWare," the 24-year old star posted in her account.

This came out after a previous post saying, "I think we already know, but just to clarify. I'm NOT married. Feel free to check the PUBLIC marriage records."

Iggy's ex and manager Hefe is using Texas' common-law marriage saying that he and the rapper previously made a verbal agreement that they are living together as husband and wife in Texas on or about September 2008. An implication of this is that Hefe is entitled to half of the Black Widow Singer's assets that she has earned.

TMZ aired speculations on Saturday that Iggy's ex just wanted her money.

A separate statement released by Iggy's representative to Daily Mail said that the divorce rumors are entirely false and that Maurice Williams "Hefe" is a 'thief, felon and fugitive'.

"It's disappointing that this thief, felon and fugitive is continuing to use the media to attack Iggy as part of his desperate and despicable attempt to keep himself in the press," Iggy's reps wrote.

The Booty singer had previous disputes over Hefe as the latter is said to distribute Iggy's music without her permission by downloading these files from her computer while they are still together in Atlanta, Georgia in 2009.

"Iggy's federal court complaint froze Mr. Williams' ability to trade on her fame by profiting from music he stole from her. So he has resorted to elevating his predatory relationship with a 17-year-old girl into a sham "marriage" claim unsupported by any certificate or evidence," goes a statement released by Iggy's management.
