Juan Pablo And Nikki Ferrell Did Not Join Couples Therapy For The Money [VIDEO] VH1 Executive Producer Swears 'Bachelor' Star On SHow For Relationship
Executive Producer of VH1 Couples Therapy has stated that Juan Pablo and Nikki Ferrell didn't join Couples Therapy just for the payday, despite rumors that the reality stars are on the show for the 50K that they will both receive. The EP of Couples Therapy is promising that Juan Pablo and Nikki are in therapy for all the right reasons. At first he has his doubts because of how the couple got together adn the duration on their relationship, but now he is certain of their motives."I know for a fact they didn't do it for the money," the Couples Therapy EP said.
"They did it for a couple reasons: The first was they were [in] a new relationship and had things to sort through. Second, I think they felt like this was an opportunity for them to show who they really are. They felt they'd been duped by The Bachelor and saw it as an opportunity to come on and sort of get their story out. Going into it I was kind of skeptical," he admits. " But after sitting down with them, I learned how they came together in a crazy, unorthodox way, and they did really fall in love. But now, they have all of the issues that they're dealing with, and if they can't figure out how to deal with them, the relationship's probably going to end."
He believes if it wasn't for the show, their relationship would have been over a long time ago. Previously, people speculated that Juan Pablo and Nikki Ferrell joined the cast for 50K each. According to inside sources, 'Bachelor' star Juan Pablo had little interest in strengthening his relationship.
An inside source said, "They each got 50K to be on 'Couples Therapy,' so, of course, that's why Juan Pablo wanted to do it. The source continued, "They also just came back from an all-expenses-paid trip to Bali -- something that wouldn't have happened if Juan Pablo wasn't still with Nikki."
Juan Pablo and Nikki are living a long distance relationship which isn't helping them move forward. About that situation the source said, "Their relationship is exhausting and like an emotional roller coaster for everyone. Plus, they only see each other about once a month."
After watching Couples Therapy I am truly torn what to believe. But one thing is for sure...this relationship is going to crash and burn.
