Zelda Williams Twitter: Robin Williams' Daughter Urges Her Twitter Followers To Keep Fighting Against Depression

Zelda Williams posted on her Twitter account on October 11 to urge her Twitter followers to keep on fighting against depression.

In the report of The Record, Robin Williams' daughter Zelda claims that his father who took his own life on August 11 2014, has been fighting depression all his whole life as she promoted the World Mental Health Day on Twitter.

On her Twitter, Zelda Williams posted a series of tweets in raising the awareness.

She posted:

"Today is #WorldMentalHealthDay. Mental illness is often misunderstood & misrepresented, but that's starting to change. Let's end the stigma. Mental health is as important as physical health, & whether there are visible signs or not, the suffering is real. It can affect everyone. So please, let's help stop the misconceptions & support those who need our help. Healing the whole starts with healing minds. No matter what the misinformed say, you can't simply choose to make mental illness go away. It is not cowardly to suffer or seek help."

Zelda Williams finished off her tweet by mentioning her late father and to keep on fighting.

"Lastly, my dad openly fought depression his whole life, both in general and his own. No matter what anyone says, it is a FIGHT. Fight on."

After Robin Williams death, Zelda leaves her Twitter account after she received images of her father that being edited along with many threatening messages. Zelda Williams back on Twitter after her short hiatus and shared a quote from the actor Harvey Fierstein.

The quote reads: "Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life; define yourself."
